The Phoenix canal diversion has automation to maintain consistent flow targets that we set. Last night after midnight, a sensor failed and caused the headgates to our canal to shut all the way down. This was discovered at 7 am and corrected. There will be a big drop in the canal through the entire west side of the system. The farther downstream you are the longer it will take for the water to show back up. We appoligize for the poor timing of this issue and we will do everything we can to get your water going again.
